This page is for requests to gain user rights on this wiki and to join this wiki's administration. Being part of our administration team and granted user rights and access to additional tools is a privilege that is based on merit and commitment to help the wiki and its community
You are allowed to nominate yourself for these positions or nominate another user if they accept for these position if the nominee follows the recommended criteria.
The criteria for positions only applies if this wiki has a large and active administration. If they are no active bureaucrats on this wiki, you may choose to request to adopt this wiki on Miraheze Meta by writing the name of this site in the request.
For admins and bureaucrats, to promote a user, go to Special:UserRights, type in the name of the user, then click on "Load user group". Then under the "Edit user groups" section, click on the appropriate user rights groups you would like to add the user to. You can also access a user's user rights page by going to that user's contribution page and going into their user rights log.
For new members of the administration, please sign your name by typing three tildes, ~~~, without the timestamp, in the main administration page at the section for list of users in your current position and include the date of promotion next to your signature.

Voting policy
All autoconfirmed users can vote on nominations here. Users can choose to vote to support or oppose the nominee's promotion, and can vote for more than one candidate. Users who have stronger community support are likely to be promoted by a bureaucrat, however promotion is not merely determined about who have the highest supporting votes over opposing votes, as it is ultimately the decision of the bureaucrats who choose who to promote based on the interests and needs of the community and the wiki as a whole.
There is no time limit in how long a nomination should last until a final verdict is decided by the bureaucrats, as we try to give everyone enough time to give their opinions. This is not a competitive nomination, and so it doesn't matter if a user has more votes than the rest within the same period.
How to vote
To vote, you type the template {{subst:Support strong|Reason|~~~~}} to strongly support, {{subst:Support|Reason|~~~~}} to support, {{subst:Support weak|Reason|~~~~}} to weak support, {{subst:Neutral|Reason|~~~~}} for a neutral vote or to abstain from voting, {{subst:Oppose weak|Reason|~~~~}} to weak oppose, {{subst:Oppose|Reason|~~~~}} to oppose, and {{subst:Oppose strong|Reason|~~~~}} to strongly oppose. To leave a comment, go down to the comments section. Make sure to sign your name with ~~~~ to include the timestamp.
